But through various clever tweaks, it’s a well-rounded evolution of the experience into which I’ve poured more than a thousand hours since 2016. Unless they’re saving it for a bigger announcement, they would have said explicitly that Diablo 4 and Modern Warfare 2 will be available on Game Pass on day one because that would be a huge deal. Overwatch 2 doesn’t flip the formula the way you might expect a long-awaited, numbered sequel would. It’s a wonderful shooter full of depth, with unique heroes to master, maps to learn, and hours of your life to lose all over again. Seasonal upgrades every nine weeks will include the addition of new heroes, maps, and game styles.Battle them on 22 futuristic maps based on actual locations while mastering six different game types. One of the 35 different heroes can take the lead, ambush the opposition, or support the allies.

Join forces with allies and engage in reimagined PvP as a time-jumping freedom warrior, a beat-dropping battlefield DJ, or one of over 30 other distinctive characters as you engage in combat all across the world. Each round is the ultimate 5v5 battlefield war. Taking place in a bright future, Overwatch 2 is a team-based action game that is always on and always developing.
